WordPress Training and Support
Oliver Marketing provides one-on-one personalized WordPress training in Windsor and Essex County for business owners, staff and others. We offer a hands-on interactive approach to teach you how to make changes to your website. Our four WordPress instructors provide in-person training in Windsor, Lakeshore, Leamington, Essex County, and Chatham Kent. We also offer WordPress training and support to other locations via online medias.

- Creating profile images with Gravatar
- Configuring your site settings
- Creating user-friendly permalinks
- How to add / edit page and post content
- How to add images, a gallery, and video
- Setting up menus and navigation
- Adding widgets to the sidebar and footer
- Adding categories, tags, excerpts, and other elements
- Locating and installing plugins
- Creating WordPress backups / site restoration
- Keeping your website and plugins updated and secure
- Adding social media and share buttons
In-Person Training for Individuals or Groups (Full-Day)
In-person training is available at your office or business. We will spend the day training you on your computer. Our rate is $300/day, per group, no matter how many people attend. During this time our trainer will lead you through the basics of WordPress, proper use of blocks, best practices, accessing your site, creating blog posts and pages, making changes to your site’s content and design, and how to keep your site safe and secure. The trainer will answer any questions and lead your through example scenarios.
Online E-learning (Hourly)
Online training is offered by a qualified WordPress web developer and web designer for both groups and individuals. Group training is performed through video conferencing with screen-share. Individual training is performed by telephone or video conference. The cost of this service for individuals is $40/hr. For groups and businesses our rates are $60/hr. During this time our trainer can help you or your organization learn any aspect of WordPress or web design modification.
The trainer will answer any questions and lead you through example scenarios. Training will be specifically tailored to the needs of you, your business, and your website. All trainees will receive a print copy of the basic instructions which they can use for future reference.
